People and permissions

Admins, members, and what each person can reach and do.

Your organization has two roles. An admin runs it: settings, people, scoring weights, templates and the plan, with every permission below. A member works deals, with the permissions an admin gives them.

Reach

The first question for any member: do they reach every opportunity in the organization, or only the ones assigned to them? Admins reach every opportunity. Reach is enforced in the database, not only on screen.

Permissions

  • Assigns: assign a colleague to an opportunity.
  • Decides: approve memos and record decisions.
  • Exceptions: approve an opportunity outside the mandate.
  • Fund DNA: edit the Fund DNA.

Where it lives

Organization has its own tabs: Overview, Memory, People, Plan and Settings. People holds the table of members and their permissions; Plan shows your package and what you have used of it.
