The workflow

Diligence

Documents read on arrival, claims checked at the source, gaps asked of the company.

Diligence is the deep pass on an opportunity. Its tab is laid out in reading order: the Work queue, then Conclusions, Evidence, Sentiment, the Company, its Team, and its Market and domain.

The data room

Upload once, or let the company upload. PDFs, PowerPoint decks, spreadsheets, Word files, CSV, images and call transcripts, up to 50MB each. Each document is read as it arrives, filed, and turned into checks.

Claims checked at their source

Company details go to the official registers, patents to the patent offices, filings to the regulators. An official record outranks a commercial aggregator, which outranks the open web. See Verification.

Questions a sector raises

A company gets its own sector’s questions. Health is four: a drug company is asked about its pathway, clinical data, manufacturing and the capital to its next readout; a device company about its pathway, quality system and buyer; a diagnostic about its route, its validation and who pays; digital health about whether it is a medical device, its health data, outcomes and who pays. A product for women’s health adds whether studies were reported by sex, how reproductive-health data is protected and whether the condition has a reimbursement code. Fintech is asked about licences, its partner bank and credit losses; climate and energy about cost at scale, offtake and policy.

Regulatory and clinical

For a health company, the Market and domain view and the report’s Regulatory and clinical section show the route to market, where it stands and who confirmed it, how the product is paid for, how far along the lead asset is and its published odds of approval from there, the next readout against the runway, and what the trial registries, the FDA and EUDAMED hold. Where a registry disagrees with the company (a phase it has not reached, a trial that was stopped, a readout after the money runs out, a clearance or CE mark its regulator does not show), it is a question in the Work queue.

Contradictions

When the deck, the accounts and a call disagree on a figure, you see each reading side by side, with a question you can send the company. A figure said aloud on a call is compared too, but speech never corroborates anything on its own.

The Work queue

Everything waiting on a person sits in one queue: contradictions to settle, gaps to fill, requests waiting on the company.

Requests to the company

  • Aventro AI drafts the request, with what it is about and when it is due. Nothing reaches the company until you send it.
  • The company answers in its own workspace, with the document or the figure.
  • Aventro reads the answer against what was asked and tells you whether it answers it. It reports; it never decides.
  • You accept, decline or withdraw. A company never accepts its own answer.

Calls and transcripts

Add a pitch or a call as a recording, or as text (a file or pasted). A recording is kept as a small, compressed copy, encrypted under the deal’s own key, and transcribed; Aventro reads only the words, never voices or faces. Aventro quotes what the company said, marks where it hedged, rates the tone of the words (never the voice or the person), and pairs what your team asked with what the company answered. None of it moves the score.
