The workflow
Opportunities
How deals reach your pipeline, and the stages they move through.
An opportunity is one company in your fund’s pipeline. However a company reaches you, it lands as one opportunity: send the same deck twice, or forward it after the founder shared it, and it attaches to the card already there instead of making a second one.
How deals arrive
- Your inbound address. Each fund gets its own email address. Forward a deck to it and the company lands in your pipeline. An admin finds it under Settings, Deal flow, can rotate it, and can choose to screen every emailed deck as it arrives. Each of those uses one screening from your plan, up to a daily cap, and it needs the Fund DNA set first.
- Upload. Drop a deck into the pipeline yourself.
- Founder-shared. A company with its own record on Aventro can share it with your fund.
- Cohorts. A batch of decks at once, back as one ranked table. See Cohorts.
Stages
An opportunity moves from New to Screening, Diligence and Decision. A recorded decision closes it as Rejected, Approved or Invested, and an investment moves on to Monitoring. The pipeline filters by stage, and each row shows how the company arrived, its Aventro score and its Fund Fit.
