1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies (local storage, pixels, and SDKs) work the same way. We use cookies and similar technologies to run the Service, remember your choices, keep you secure, and — with your consent — understand and improve how the Service is used.
2. Your Choices and Consent
2.1 When you first visit, we show a cookie banner. Non-essential technologies (analytics and session recording) are off by default and load only after you opt in. You can change your choices at any time via the "Cookie settings" control in the site footer.
2.2 Withdrawing consent stops the relevant technologies going forward. Essential technologies cannot be switched off because the Service cannot function without them.
3. Categories We Use
3.1 Strictly necessary (always on). Required to run the Service — for example authentication and session cookies (via our hosting/auth provider, Supabase), security cookies, and your cookie-consent choice itself. These do not require consent.
3.2 Performance (consent required). Help us understand performance and reliability — for example Vercel Speed Insights and Vercel Analytics.
3.3 Analytics (consent required). Help us understand product usage to improve the Service — provided by PostHog. Where enabled, PostHog may capture usage events and, subject to your consent and our masking configuration, session recordings of your interactions. Session recording is configured to minimize capture of sensitive on-screen content.
3.4 Diagnostics / error monitoring. We use Sentry to detect and diagnose errors so we can keep the Service secure and working. Basic error diagnostics may run on the basis of our legitimate interest in security and stability; session-replay diagnostics run only where you have consented to analytics, with masking applied.
4. Third-Party Technologies We Use
Provider | Purpose | Category |
|---|---|---|
Supabase | Authentication, session, real-time | Strictly necessary |
Vercel (Analytics, Speed Insights) | Performance and usage measurement | Performance (consent) |
PostHog | Product analytics and session recording | Analytics (consent) |
Sentry | Error monitoring and session replay | Diagnostics / Analytics (consent for replay) |
We do not use Google Analytics. Each provider processes data under its own terms; see the Subprocessors & data sources page.
5. Managing Your Preferences
5.1 Use the "Cookie settings" control in the footer to accept, reject, or fine-tune non-essential categories at any time.
5.2 You can also manage cookies through your browser settings (blocking or deleting cookies). Browser-level opt-outs like Global Privacy Control are honored where applicable.
6. Impact of Disabling Cookies
Disabling strictly necessary cookies will break core functionality (for example you may not be able to sign in). Disabling performance/analytics cookies does not affect functionality; it only limits our ability to measure and improve the Service.
7. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the technologies we use or in law. Material changes will be notified in-Service or by email.
