Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is part of, and incorporated into, the Terms and Conditions. It applies to everyone who uses the Aventro platform (the "Service"). Capitalized terms have the meaning given in the Terms.

1. General

You may use the Service only for lawful business purposes and in accordance with the Terms, this AUP, and applicable law. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for any Content you submit.

2. Prohibited Activities

You must not:

  1. use the Service to violate any law or regulation, or to engage in any illegal activity, or to infringe or misappropriate any third party's intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or contractual rights;
  2. upload or share Content or Report you do not have the right to share, including confidential information disclosed to you under an obligation of confidence without authorization;
  3. misuse, collect, solicit, or gain access without permission to private information;
  4. misuse material non-public information (MNPI) or use the Service to facilitate insider dealing, market abuse, or other securities violations;
  5. alter or misuse any Report or output of the Service in a misleading way or in a way that omits material disclaimers, limitations, or context;
  6. use the Service in a way that suggests that it constitutes legal, financial, tax, accounting, valuation, regulatory, or other professional advice, due diligence, or an independently verified statement of fact;
  7. represent any Report or output of the Service as human-generated;
  8. upload malware or malicious code, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
  9. probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach or circumvent security or authentication, except under an authorized security-testing program;
  10. scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-extract data from the Service except through features expressly provided for that purpose, or use the Service's outputs to build a competing dataset or product;
  11. overload, disrupt, or interfere with the Service, or use it to send spam or unsolicited bulk communications;
  12. reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, models, or prompts, except to the extent permitted by law;
  13. develop products, services or features that compete with the Service;
  14. post or transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexual, violent or otherwise objectionable;
  15. exploit the vulnerabilities of an individual or group of individuals arising from their age, disability, or specific social or economic situation, with the aim of distorting their behavior in a manner likely to cause them harm;
  16. make automated decisions without human supervision and review; or
  17. misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or authority, including falsely claiming to represent a company or profile.

3. Third-Party Data and Company Profiles

3.1 The Service allows you to create and analyze profiles about companies and the individuals associated with them. If you do so, you represent that you have a legitimate business due-diligence purpose and a lawful basis, and that your use complies with applicable data-protection law.

3.2 You must not use company profiles or contact information to harass individuals, to send unlawful marketing, or for any purpose unrelated to legitimate diligence.

3.3 Analyst-sourced profiles about companies that have not claimed them are labelled unverified. You must not present unverified information as fact or as an endorsement by the subject company.

4. Sharing and Publication

Reports and other outputs are intended for internal use only, unless sharing is expressly enabled by the Platform or otherwise authorized by Aventro.

Do not share MNPI or another party's confidential information without authorization.

5. Reporting Abuse and Requesting Removal

5.1 To report a violation of this AUP, or content you believe is unlawful, infringing, or inaccurate, contact legal@aventro.ai.

5.2 If you are, or represent, a company or individual described in a profile and wish to be notified, correct information, object, or request removal, use the "Request removal / dispute this profile" link on the profile or contact privacy@aventro.ai. We will review and respond in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may remove or restrict content, suspend or terminate accounts, and take other action we consider appropriate, with or without notice, consistent with the Terms and applicable law.
